Wall Mounted Electric Panel Heaters

"We have lived in a charming little house in a canyon for the past 28 years, and shivered through each winter as it does not have any central heaters. We didn't think we had options other than central heat, which would not work well with our home's tight layout, but finally took the plunge and installed Envi heaters from Eheat. They were inexpensive and our electrician easily installed them. We were surprised and thrilled to see these small heaters immediately heated our high-ceiling home. Warm, silent, cool to the touch, easy to use thermostats. We are thrilled with our new heaters and wish we had installed them sooner!"

"We love this slim profile, efficient heater. Installed it in a room that had no heat previously, and it works perfectly and very efficiently. Very easy to install and operate."

"My house is old and several rooms have only one heat vent, and it keeps the house cold because of it. Since I have installed the Envi wall mounted unit, it has helped keep the rest of the house warmer overall. It works great! So glad I invested in it."

"I have been heating my 1000 sq ft apartment units with 1500 watt heaters for the past three years. As you might imagine my hydro bill (I live in Canada) is enormous and those heaters did not keep every room in the apartments warm. When I installed the Envi heaters in my apartment I was able to put three in different rooms using less electricity just one of my other heaters used and the difference was fantastic!! I have been thinking of all kinds of uses for these new heaters and would recommend then to anyone.
The quality also is top notch!! Thank you guys!!"

"I ordered 5 of these units and although I haven’t installed them all yet, the ones I have are performing as expected. I’ve purchased Envi heaters previously, hence the reason I’ve ordered more. I use these heaters in my own home as well as my rental property, to heat areas the gas forced air ductwork wasnt installed. Works well, now back to installing the remaining units.

"Really like this unit. Fits snugly against the wall. Thermostat control is a must. Provides even heat in an otherwise cool lower level of a townhouse. Unobtrusive and subtle."

"These are great little units that pack a ton of heat. They are super sleek and heat our over the garage in-law unit perfectly. The price is affordable for what you get. I have tried other brands and this one is by far the best looking and best heating unit I have purchased. "

"I am completely satisfied with the product, so much that I now have 3 total throughout my house. I love the fact that they are so quiet and have such a clean look. The are practically silent. I have the plug in units with built in thermostats. They were super easy to install thanks to the box they are enclosed in also being a template for the screw holes.
Very safe, great for supplemental heat."

"We just bought our second one. We live in an old house where the upstairs is always cold. We have placed one in two of our children's rooms and they are so happy. The setting is even set on a low setting and the rooms stay nice and toasty. I am so glad we got them!"

"I had a little problem getting the heater adapted to a very uneven wall in a 10 X 14 insulated shed I am making into a small wood shop, but after getting it mounted it has worked fine and kept the temperature at a steady degree of comfort and makes it easy to work around the heater since of the low profile."

"This was the fifth heater I have installed, all have been the 220 with built in thermostat. So far all have worked well. They have been put in bedrooms as supplemental heaters mainly for night time when doors are shut. You do have to follow directions and give the room 48+ hours to reach temperature. "

""I am a return customer. I bought a first one 8 or 9 years ago. It has been a perfect quiet heater for us.
I just got 5 more to space around the house.
The newest batch is even easier to install than before, love the drill guide template. It was a super easy. took about 5 minutes per heater! We've had new ones for about a week now, they work GREAT!""

"This is our third Envi, and we just love them. We have a rather large, old home with radiators, and these heaters are the perfect solution. We never have them set more than half way on the dial, even in the cold NY State winters. The heaters are the best solution for "cold spots" in our home, and when not needed, they can be easily turned off. They are safe and efficient, and they help keep our heating bills down.

"We have a 140 sq. ft. Sun room with widows on 3 sides and opens into the living room. It's a wonderful place to sit and look out over the park. We also have a TV in this room that we use in the evening. In Minnesota the winters are cold, and although this room is heated after the sun goes down (or if it is a cloudy day) the room cools down about 4 to 6 degrees below the rest of the home. This heater maintains the home temperature plus raises it 2 to 4 degrees higher than the home temperature, if we want. I had been using a little space heater with a fan and it was noisy and dried out our eyes. I had to construct a simple mounting board to mount the heater to because the windows are only 22 inches above the floor.
It works great and is safe so all is good."

"We own and operate a mixed use commercial/residential building that was built in the 60's. The apartments are equipped with Cadets and the offices with baseboards. The Envi has been a perfect choice for retrofitting. These units are safe, efficient, and reliable. Our tenants have been very pleased. We have been pleased with a noticeable decrease in the electric bill. Of the 15 units we've installed so far, one had a malfunction. The service to get this replaced was fast, fair, and friendly. We will definitely continue to use the Envi as our replacement of choice."

"Ordered 2 heaters - received both in less than 1 week. Installation was uncommonly easy. The included template makes it a breeze. I have an energy tracking system (Engage Platform) installed in my house. With the heater selected to highest temp - energy consumption was minimum. The 12' X 14" sunroom - with 3 outside walls and large windows on each wall heats up quite fast and the heater keeps the temp more stable at night.
I plan on installing the 2nd heater into a downstairs bedroom. Highly recommended "

"Two weeks ago, I was surfing the web to look for the safest space heater to buy. Our current one was running too hot and I didn’t want to risk a house fire. EHeat was the only one that stated that it could be left unattended, 24/7. So my search was over and I ordered one. We use it in our basement, which has an unfinished floor with a rug placed over it. My daughter uses the room for a music studio and is pleasantly surprised as to how nicely warm and comfortable the temperature is. She keeps it on a meduim-high setting 24/7.
Great instructions and mounting template: easy to set up.
International order received quickly—within 2 days!
Nice low-profile, sleek look.
Would consider ordering the additional plug-in thermostat next time I order another heater."

"Very simply put.. If you have electric heat BUY ONE!!! easy to install, attractive, cool to the touch. I installed one in my Grandsons bedroom, when it was done I left it on for 48 hrs and it was toasty, yet cool. It's a very nice looking heater"

"We have now purchased a second Envi wall mounted heaters after being so pleased with the first one. The second Envi heater was for our daughter's bedroom, to replace an old (ugly) electric panel. She wouldn't use the old heater one we replaced it with because it was so loud, it would wake her up. Her room would be icy in the winter! Now her room is cozy with the Envi heater--it is silent, sleek, cool to the touch, and energy efficient. We are considering buying a third one!"

"This is the second heater I have purchased, bought one couple years ago, still use it; have been very pleased with it performance. This one is a back up and/or if needed in another room for colder winter months.
Easy to install. I am still amazed at it's quality for the price. "

"I couldn't be happier with the performance of these heaters. Easy to install and now providing uniform cozy warmth throughout my older poorly insulated condominium home. Right now I have one heater each in my two 150-175 sf bedrooms and they easily keep them comfortably warm (68-70 degrees) at a very low setting. In my open kitchen, dining, and living spaces I have 3 heaters spread out to cover 700 sf. They are easily up to the job, again at the lower settings. Here in Seattle the fall temps are currently in the low 40s to high 50s so I have not been subjected to winter temps in the 20s and 30s, but I am extremely confident these will easily be up to the task and I feel that if anything, in moderate climates such as Seattle, they will heat larger spaces than the suggested 125-150 sf. Like most electric heaters, they did have a bit of an odor for the first two days, but that went away completely. Lastly, I have found that they heat up the spaces very quickly, for example, much faster than a baseboard or radiant heat system."

"I received my Envi wall heater last week and was able to intall it yesterday. It is the easiest thing to hang on the wall. No drills, just like you say in the advertisement. Only needed a screw driver. It's been rather warm here in the burbs of Philly but I turn it on to see that I hooked it on the wall correctly. Almost instant heat and no sound. This is terrific. I live in a 3 story townhome and my flex room is the colder room of the house. I have my dog's crate and my parakeet is down there. I know now with the Envi it is going to be much warmer down there this winter. I'm excited to see how efficient it works this fall and winter. And it's made in the good old USA!!!"

"I’m very happy with my purchase. Last year I bought an Envi heater to try out through the cold winter months and to save money on my electric bill. My house was built in the 70’s it is not up to date with double pane windows, it has a horrible heating system (base board heating) and not well insulated.
I installed the Envi heater in my bedroom and put up storm windows to keep the cold air from coming through the windows. I must say the Envi heater works like a charm - very quiet, keeps my room warm set at a low temperature and didn't noticed a difference on my electric bill. I am so happy with this product I purchased another Envi heater for my office.
I will be making more purchases in the future and have been referring people to try this product. ""

""I just installed two of these babies in my 350 sq ft cabin which gets pretty cold at night starting in October. I paid some professional electricians 1k to install them for me because I also wanted to add a dedicated breaker to my panel, so there can be more cost associated with the hardwired version, but having no electrical cord is nice-the heater looks great on the wall and it blends into the background.
On to the performance; I am very comfortable at night with both units going at the half-way/medium setting. No noise, just a soft radiant heat. It is not hot to the touch even if I have it on the max setting-in a small cabin that is SO wonderful! I have two units going and they use 1/3 less wattage than my little ceramic space heater with a fan, and they put out 10X the heat & comfort. The envi is a revolutionary design that really is meaner and greener. I will eventually be hooking their breaker up to some dedicated solar panels.
Bye, Bye gas wall heater- I'm ripping that out!""

"We purchased this heater for a storage facility which cannot drop below freezing. It worked great! Keeps our utility bill low with an moderate temperature inside the building. We had to buy a second unit, as we have been experiencing power outages this fall and one of them zapped the heater. This time will use a power surge protector. "

"Let me preface this by saying that my girlfriend and I live full time on a boat. Now I know that the ENVI heater is not sold as a marine heater but safety is first and foremost a liveaboard number one concern.
Last year we heated with an oil filled heater with pretty good results. The problem was with the free standing design. it's really impossible to hold in place. That's bad for a boat that is constantly moving around. They also draw 1500 watts which adds to the electric bill.
This year as I was doing some research I was drawn to the new micathermic heaters. Many are wall mountable. The technology seems good. But most are quite large. Again not a good thing for a boat with limited space. I also always read the reviews of these other heaters. Many were positive about the heat output but many were also negative about dependability, quality, and safety.
Then while reading a boating forum someone mentioned the ENVI heater. I looked it up, and sure enough, it seemed to check off all the boxes: Super safe with redundancies built into it, compact, economical to operate, wall mountable, good output, reliable, etc...so I ordered a stealth model to complement the beautiful mahogany interior of my boat.
The heater fits very nicely and more importantly, securely into the limited space I have. It s sleek contemporary design is pleasing to look at. I was sceptical at its ability to produce much heat at less then 500 watts. My first impression after plugging it in was dissipointment with the amount of heat I felt emitting from the top. But I gave it time like the instructions told me to do and let it run. Last night was our first night using the ENVI. It's now mid October here in Maine so things have definitely cooled off. The temperature dropped down into the low 30s F. I kid you not, we stayed very comfortable. There is no real hot air to feel or touch. But the whole boat just felt comfortable. Now I'm not one who likes to wear much to bed and most of the year I prefer to wear nothing. This time last year we were all bundled up in night clothes. Last night the ENVI heater allowed me to sleep in my preferred method, el natural. Now I'm not saying I'll be able to do this all winter, but so far so good.
Thank you so much Ms. or Mr. ENVI or who ever you are for a great product. And for a great or lack there of ( wink wink ) nights rest.
First impressions- five fat stars for me."

Immediately turned on both units ( on opposite sides of a relatively large room and left on for 72 hours, like instructions said ). After which had to turn down and “ find our comfort zone”! This is a lower level family room and now we sit comfortably in the evening without fleeces on. Product looks beautiful, totally cool to touch, and has done everything as advertised! Wonderful product and totally pleased with my 2 unit purchase."

"We just purchased our third Envi wall heater and we love them! We have a great heating system in our older home (nothing like steel radiators) but sometimes I like one room a little warmer and instead of raising the thermostat and heating the whole house more, we now have an Envi wall heater in our kitchen, bathroom and my 95 year old mother's bedroom...so if a little extra heat is needed, this heater takes care of it great! You don't even know they are on....no noise whatsoever...cool to the touch....no cold air at the floor level anymore and no noticeable cost in the electric bill...just great. Well worth the money. "

"We have purchased these heaters several times in the past. We are home builders, and used them in a prior project - a basement, where the heat usually doesn't get to due to simple physics. But the heaters we installed warmed the space up really well. We were so impressed, we ordered two for the basement in our own home, and our daughter is replacing three in-wall blower-type heaters in her home with this heater, since they're so much more safe around children and pets. Plus, in small spaces, furniture can be closer to the heater.
An awesome product!"

" I needed to install heaters in the three bedrooms of the house I just sold, the buyer had researched and asked for these particular heaters to be installed, and I looked online at Home Depot's site to see what they sold, and wasn't impressed by the reviews on the import brands of heaters that they sold, so I decided to go ahead and install these, especially since there are American-made. When they arrived, I was impressed by the neat and efficient packaging of the product, the very clear and easy to follow installation instructions, and the overall design of the product. I installed the hardwire models, because of the buyers lenders requirements, but otherwise would've gone with the plug in the models. I only turned them on long enough to verify that they work, I haven't had a chance to try them in cold weather, but I expect that they should work quite well, being a convection type heater. I am planning to move to the northwest, away from the desert, and if I need heaters in my next house, I most likely will go with these, versus harder to install baseboard or fan forced in the wall mounted type heaters. Overall, these seem to be an excellent choice for heating individual rooms, and it warmer climates, could be used for the entire house, versus having a central heating system."

Noticed no real increase in overall cost to heat either. Have a house full of electric baseboards. Now I feel comfortable switching to these. My house is very well insulated, and since these worked so well in the basement which is insulated, but is still a basement, I know they will easily replace the expensive baseboards I have at a lower cost and will look much better also."

"Doing a lot of renovations to a 1925 house. Several rooms weren't part of the house's central heating system. Bought three Envis for the first three renovated rooms. Used them all winter and was very satisfied.
Needed a heater for the final room, and it was a no-brainer, I just installed my fourth Envi heater and expect that room to be toasty warm all winter.
They look nice too, and their slim design takes up very little space -- a bonus."

"I purchased two of your ENVI plug-in heaters for my house - one in my home office, where I spend my days, and one in my art studio, where I spend my evenings. In less than 24 hours, these heaters have heated these spaces to a point where I am no longer cold after months of suffering with another heater that drew more than 1200 watts, didn't keep me warm, and blew out an electrical socket. I LOVE YOUR ENVI HEATERS (and I can't wait to see my next electric bill)!!!"

"We live in an old frame house out in the country. It is drafty and cold in winter. We have always used a couple of gas space heaters to heat the house. Even with bedroom doors left open – the bedrooms were always cold. For safety we turned them down at night. The morning chore was to jump out of bed – run to the heater – crank it up – and dive back into bed before you froze.
We purchased and installed five Envi heaters, one for each bedroom, the dining room and living room. All I can say is that we only have to use one of the gas heaters on the very coldest of days. The Envi heaters do a great job of keeping the house liveable during winter and they keep the bedrooms just right for sleeping.
These heaters DO NOT blast the heat at you. If you want somethng to cuddle up in front of – this is not it. They are quiet, gentle and virtually unnoticeable in a room. The folks posting the extreme bad reviews must be competitors or generally irrascible folks who had unreasonable expectations.
I am hard to please and these heaters have proven themselves to me."

"I looked around quite a bit before I decided on the Envi heater. I ordered one for my sons room and it is amazing. It heats the whole space very comfortably. I then ordered another for another room and am equally pleased. I plan on buying 2 more in the near future. So far my electric bill is minimally impacted.

"I ordered 2 heaters in September and 1 more in October after I found out that they worked so well. I am surprised how little the electric bill is impacted....and I keep tract. My house is located in Mid-Michigan and is heated by steam with the big steel radiators and there were a couple of cold spots in the home. I have placed these heaters in these areas to create a more even heat. I even put 1 in my son's upstairs room to provided a constant heat in his room day and night. I was even able to remove the rooms obtrusive radiator which opened up the floor plan of the room and allowed him to sleep throughout the night without being awakened by the noise of the radiator. I fully expect to recoup the costs of purchasing the heaters this winter season. I am buying an additional heater for a second upstairs bedroom this month. I highly recommend this product."

"I just ordered a second envi heater for our upstairs. We live in a Cape style house that has very poor heat in the upstairs, one room which has no direct heat source. Used last winter season in that room and it heats perfectly. Our toddler is in that room and we needed a safe heater as well. Recently the temps dropped and we had the heater on and she literally put her hands on top of the heater and no burn, no screams. She was fine. So good heat, no burns, easy to install and we really saw no jump in our electric bill. We are pretty good at turning it off in during the day but sometimes sleep deprived parents forget but really did not notice any more $ in the electric bill."

"We just bought a 14×70 mobile home. It has a 10×20 addition on the living room, and a 10×20 entry way added on. I got 5 Envi Heater panels, one for each of the bedrooms, one for the entry way, and one for the living room. They installed really easy. I had to pre-drill a hole for the wall dogs to go in because we have sheet rock over the original trailer paneling and the anchors did not like to go through the paneling on their own accord. (not surprising!) The first night we decided to put them through their paces and turned off the central heating. Those 5 panels kept the entire trailer warm and even raised the temp over night as I asked them to. (We got the programmable thermostats too) Every door on the trailer was open, and I know the whole thing was over the panels rated square footage, but they have been keeping the place warm and comfy the entire time, we have not turned the central heating on again. There are no cold spots either the entire place is heated evenly. The cases have stayed cool to the touch, absolutely no problem there. They are kind of like a fridge in that you set a temp wait for about 24 hours to see if you like where it ends up and adjust from there. They are not instant gratification heaters, but they do a good job if you give them the time they need to work. They have done what I hoped, and even out preformed what I thought with heating the whole place. Even my skeptical at first wife loves them now! The only drawback was shipping to Alaska, but hey, that is the price you pay for living in such a beautiful place!!! The company did work with me though to get the shipping more reasonable."

"I used one heater in my daughters room last winter. Her small room (110 square feet) is west facing, over the garage, and end of the HVAC ducts and we have true winter weather. As such, her room is always colder than the rest of the house. We have another child on the way and I ordered a second unit for that bedroom as well.
This is not a blast heater like other small plug in units that people purchase. Here is how we used it, take it for what it is worth. We would turn the unit on about an hour before bedtime as it takes time to work. This takes the chill off by bedtime, and makes the room full on cozy by morning when it is time to shrug off the covers. The whole room feels warm, not just the area in around the heater. You do need to keep the door closed to keep the heat it does build up over time.
Before purchasing we had to plastic the window to try and keep warm, which takes away the blinds function. Last winter we skipped the plastic and it was warmer and maintained use of blinds in her room. Another reason I went with this unit is the low temperature it operates at. You can feel the heat from the top, but you will not burn yourself touching the surface of the heater. We also had no real impact on our electric bill, and kept the thermostat lower for the rest of the house which saved on natural gas.
Bottom line. Install it correctly in rooms it is designed for and understand how it works. You do this and you will enjoy this product in my opinion."

"We at Syracuse Teen Challenge installed four new heaters from eheat this year. The snow and the low temperatures here in New York can be quite brutal. I must admit that after installing the heaters in our offices within a day I noticed such a huge difference in the warmth of the offices. What we really like about the heaters is that it's NOT forced air and they are cool to touch. Thank you eheat for designing a wonderful product that'll last for a very long time."

"I bought 3 Envi heaters for my 150 year old house. The house is cold, drafty, and has minimal to no insulation. I put one in each of my small child's room and it keeps their room nice and toasty. This is a high quality product and I'm very happy with it. I figure on saving several hundred dollars over the course of the winter based on not having to buy as much oil. Thanks."

"I thank you so much. The two Envi heaters that I received not only reduced my electric bill, but keep me warm in this cold Oregon winter.
The last two weeks, nights have been below freezing, but I have been comfortable. I live in a 1972 mobile house, very little insulation in the ceiling and no insulation in the very thin walls.
Three years ago, I closed the living room off from the rest of the house and my electric heating bill for the winter months was $230 to $250 a month. This winter it has been reduced by more than 60% by using the Envi heaters. The heaters run 24 hours around the clock.
Again, I thank you so much. I will recommend these heaters to anyone that wants to save on their winter heating bill."

"This little bugger does as adverstised. I wanted something for my sons room that was safe and this was my only option so I got it. It works great, I use it in a room over my garage that never seems to be able to stay warm and this keeps it right up to par with the rest of the home. No it doesn't instantly produce overwhelming heat to the room, it isn't supposed to, and isn't advertised as such. It works exactly as they say it should helping keep the room constant with the rest of the home. I just bought a second for my daughters room."

"We bought this for our son's room and it is very pleasant. Turned the dial on full and the room feels nice, does not feel too hot or toasty at all as mentioned by other reviewer. I always hated the dry forced hot air, would make my nose bleed. This is good.
Installation was extremely easy, took less than 2 minutes. Would be buying 2 more in next few days.

"I was looking for an inexpensive and efficient way to add a little warmth to my master bathroom. Fortunately, I stumbled upon the eHeat website at just the right time. My bathroom has travertine tiles on the floor which can be quite cold pretty much year-round. I really needed something to take the chill out of the air on cold mornings.
The Envi heater installed in minutes using the included wall anchors. I'm extremely impressed with the design and functionality of the unit. I turned it on and in about 5-10 minutes, my average sized bathroom was toasty-warm. I've only used it for two days and have already ordered two more for other locations in my home. You really can't beat this combination of energy efficiency, intelligent design, ease of use, and best of all–price."

"I bought this product before any reviews so I was taking a chance. Luckily got a great discount, free shipping and wonderful customer service. I was wary at first, scared it would be hot for my toddler running around. Luckily he has ignored it but even if he did touch it, it would not hurt him. The kitchen oven is way more dangerous. It gets a room toasty and is supplemental heat for our hotwater baseboards. What's cool is that you can just pop it off in the summer when you don't need it if you want to. It is very simple and easy to use and very easy to install. Like I said I have put my hands all over this thing even touching the back of it to see if it would burn but NOPE its not going to happen and it emits no sparks and no gas so it is like they claimed a very SAFE heater!"

"I lovelovelove the envi! I was looking for a spaceheater that would be safe for my new kitten. He's very mischievous and likes to be very close to my boyfriend and I in our home office. It's about 50 square feet (i know we barely both fit in there). There is no heat duct in this room as it used to be a 3 season porch. I couldn't justify cranking the heat for the whole house if all three of us are in the office anyways. We installed the heater yesterday (SO EASY someone with 2 left hands can do it) and it heated our little room to tropical temperatures in about an hour! The thermostat is great and even on low, keeps us toasty enough not to wear socks and sweaters (we live in Boston). GET ONE!"

"They didn't leave anything out with this heater–it is absolutely perfect. Incredibly easy to install, temperature control that works, completely cool to the touch, great looks, a cord organizer, and an "on light" that dims down in a dark room (essential for my sensitive sleeper who must have it pitch black to sleep). I'm kicking myself for not buying several of these with the pre-order discount. But at any cost, it's worth it. We turn our heater off at night and at the middle temp setting it keeps my son's 11X13 room perfectly warm. In our other rooms we have the Econo-heater wall panel. They're also nice, but they're not as easy to install or move, don't have the great looks of the Envi, don't have temperature control–which is an issue in our small rooms–and the light on the panel is too bright. My husband and I are talking about selling our Econo-heaters and upgrading to the Envi heaters."

"We installed this heater yesterday evening in our two year old's room. Her room (about 11×12) has always been the coldest room in our house, but when checking on her in the middle of the night we found her toasty warm. If the heater continues to work this well I may order more for our other cold rooms."

"Great heater, definite improvement over the previous panel heater. Very easy to install. Attractive look. Built in thermostat, overall a huge improvement. It has been running a few hours, and exterior is still cool to touch so it appears to me to be very safe with a 2 and a half year old (and cats) in the house.
Be sure to read exactly what this does: heats a small area very efficiently. Large family and living rooms would need several of these.
I am very picky, but will get several more of these as long as it operates as it does on the first day for the next few months.
My suggestion for further improvements: Make a larger or more powerful one for larger rooms."

"I am ridiculously happy with my new Envi Heater. Put it in the bathroom which sits over top of an uninsulated crawl space and it took the edge off of the cold within minutes. And that on a very low thermostat setting. Tiny profile, clean lines, easy installation. Love it! I will definitely be a repeat customer."

"I am a repeat customer of eheat. Their wall mount panel heaters are perfect for providing warmth in cold rooms, plus I use them so I can turn down the central furnace thermostat at night. I decided to buy their new envi heater for a downstairs area and I was not disappointed! These new envi heaters are more stylish, lightweight and a smaller than the old panels that I have. The grillwork in the bottom and top of this heater allows better circulation of heated air and the sale price was an added plus! And when I accidentally put the mounting clips in my re-cylcing bin, eheat promptly sent replacements – gratis. The product and service from eheat is excellent!"

"I called eheat and spoke to an employee (Samantha) and received a lot of help, advice & emails. Very friendly and unassuming...a credit to the Customer Service end of business! And what a great product the envi Heater is. I like to know how new types of products work and that they operate correctly in my home. I have been looking for a heater that would solve my particular type of troubles without burning excessive electricity, dry out the air or make noise with a fan going off & on. I looked at just about all, read all the reviews and decided Envi was the one I would try. I tend to throw out the really bad as well as the really "good" reviews with a lot of fluff; then I glean info from the middle...the old bell curve.
My home in California wine country north of San Francisco gets cold & damp at night in the winter; it's been down to 33 F since I turned the unit on. My master bedroom has 3 outside walls, a large double paned window & a bath with cold tile floors. I have central heat but unless I keep it on very high (the other rooms then roast & my bedroom air dries out) the room stays cold and damp during the night & day. I could turn off all the other room vents at night but that isn't practical. I also have a severe case of arthritis that put me on the disabled list many years ago. Winter nights for years have been a problem as any limb not bundled under blankets would get extremely painful and unmovable when I awakened. So I have really scoured the internet for a solution.
And the verdict, after 3 nights & 4 days, is it works as advertised if u follow the directions and understand how it operates & should be used! I have been slowly adjusting the thermostat, and for my situation I now have it on a very low setting, and I keep it on 24/7. The first night, after having it on high all day, it got too hot for me and I had to get up and turn it down a few notches! And it is a "comfortable" supplemental addition to my central heat, not drying out the air & solving the problem in that one room. It is perfect for my needs! I will be leaving it on 24/7 and I since it is such low wattage I don't expect it to reflect much on my electric bill. What a great heater...it solved all my problems."

"I read about the envi heater in a magazine and thought this might be a good fit for a bedroom heater.
I ordered one unit in January and it arrived quick and efficient to Canada with Fed Ex. Very easy installation and the heater works great.
Over the last two months the heater has maintained my daughters room at 21 C (70F) and am amazed that such a small wattage unit can do such a great job. My electric bill has had a small increase of $10 a month which is less than they advertised, but we would pay much higher for the safety and comfort this heater brings to my daughters room."

"My family lives on a lake in north west New Jersey. Our home sits high on pillars and the floor is poorly insulated, its about 1000 sq foot cottage. We have use 4 x 1500 watt portable oil radiators in the house for the past 3 years. After reading the ad in a magazine we looked into them more. We would use these for the primary heat source. After a week of debate we ordered 6 of the heaters and one of the wall thermostats. I ordered the hard wire units, they arrived 3 days later very well packed and all in perfect condition. I wanted to get them going so I wired in some standard plugs and plugged in 4 of the 6 units. They were super simple to mount, very easy to read instructions and the box is a mounting template. With the outside temp dropping to the single digits at night the timing was perfect to put these heaters to the test. They perform perfectly, our home went from 58 deg to an even 72 to 75 and our total wattage is down from 6000 to just below 3000 and that's if they are running at full blast, most days we have them turned down about 1/3. It has been just over a month now, I am ready to hard wire the units now and when we put our addition on you can bet we will include a few more of these units to supply heat. We are completely satisfied with the performance of the units, and to think we will heat our home for $180 per month even with the heaters cranked on high!!!
Thank you to the great team making the heaters, Made in the U.S.A. is the icing on the cake.
If your looking for supplement heat, or an alternative heat system, you have found it!!!!"

"I purchased two (2) 475 watt 2011 models. Each mounted quickly, easily, and flush on the walls in two upstairs, end of the hall bedrooms.
Each keeps the room at a very stable, uniform, and warm/temperate temperature. Considering the rooms are 275 & 325 SF, they are much larger then the recommended room size; but they keep the rooms comfortable and act like two separate zones for the upstairs.
At $109 with a 15% discount these are a great price. Huge plus made in the USA, as I would not have even considering purchasing otherwise.
These units also have great thermostats (I think both variable temperature/consumption and typical on/off control of the unit) which makes them efficient.
The two units replaced two inexpensive 1500 Watt units, which had poor thermostat control and consumed 3-4 times the power.
Great, smart, purchase for anyone."

"I wanted to thank your customer service representative and also tell you what a great job your support is doing. I thought one of the Envi Heaters sent to me in my last order wasn't working, but she explained the Wall-Sens safety switch and how I could be sure that the unit was activating this switch. I followed her directions and the unit worked! She worked with me until we found a solution. I really appreciate this level of customer service! This is my third Envi Heater, wall-mounted unit, and I am very satisfied with this product. I just ordered a digital thermostat for this unit. If that works out well, I'll order two more thermostats."

"I highly recommend your convection heaters. I live in a 111 year old uninsulated farmhouse in North Dakota. I purchased six heaters including three plug in thermostats. I cannot begin to emphasize enough the importance of giving each room you place a heater in the recommended 48 hour warm up time. Also, keeping the door closed so the temperature maintains the heat. Used correctly, these heaters are the greatest invention and use the least amount electricity of any other heater on the market today. Read the specs. I live where it goes well below zero and if it works for an old uninsulated farmhouse, imagine what it could do for your house. I have to add in closing that the customer service is incredible and they will work with you should you have any questions."

"The new envi HH1000 Heater arrived on Wednesday. I installed it that same afternoon.
As good as the old 0602 Econo-Heaters are, this new envi heater is heads and shoulders above it. I am very impressed. I can't believe how cool the whole exterior stays, yet a great volume of heat wafts out of the top. The thermostat is a super added feature. Installation was quick and easy.
The new envi HH1000 seemed to make my bedroom warmer and quicker, plus the temperature is very stable. The 3-year warranty is a nice touch, too, as is the cheaper price. Eventually I will replace all of my heaters as they wear out, with the new envi HH1000."

Are Baseboard Heaters better than Wall Mounted Heaters?
Having a heating system in the house during winter is very important. If you fail to install one, you will need to find alternative options of heating your house to make it comfortable. There are various options you can consider. One of the systems available in the market is a wall-mounted heater. Most heaters are powered by fuel or electricity. Electric ones are more popular since they are cheap and economical.
When compared with baseboard heaters, wall mounted heaters are better. This is because they produce a constant flow of hot air in the house. Cold air is sucked and heated simultaneously as the hot one is released into the house. Baseboard varieties on the other hand do not produce a steady flow of hot air. It sucks in the cold air and heats it. It may take longer to warm your house since the hot air is released intermittently.
Wall mounted heaters are very versatile. This means they are able to heat most parts of the house that other options may not. This is possible because they emit heat constantly meaning there will be enough heat to spread throughout the home. Baseboard heaters may leave some parts of the room cold as they do not operate instantaneously.
Mounted heaters are placed high on the wall where no one can interfere with them. This means your children are not exposed to the risk of electric shocks. In the case of baseboard heaters, chances of accidents in the house are real. Young kids face the risk of electric shocks especially where the heaters are not covered. Adults may trip on them and fall.
In order to protect your family from the risks associated with baseboard heaters, you need to have them covered. This is an additional expense that you will have to meet. No additional expenses are required when your heaters are mounted on the wall. Apart from the installation expenses, the only other expense to be incurred is maintenance cost.
Space in your room may be limited. Mounting the heater on the wall means that it will be taking advantage of the space that is not used by your family members. You will not need to move or relocate any item of your furniture. Baseboard heaters require you to move your furniture away from the area it is installed. This may make your house more congested and uncomfortable.
Wall mounted heaters may after all need very little maintenance. Because they are placed where they are not interfered with or exposed to any kind of damage. Some are splash proof so they can be used in bathrooms. Baseboard heaters can be damaged by falling objects and can therefore be more expensive to maintain.
Wall mounted heaters can add to the beauty of your house if you select one that matches the interior design of your home. They are noiseless and one may not notice them easily. While buying your heater, ensure you buy a quality one. You would rather pay more for it than buy something cheap that will soon fail you.

Meet Bill Gressinger, a 92 yr old, WWII Vet we have adopted as one of our Envi Heater Patron Saints
Learn how Bill saved on his heating bill:
Bill called after reading about the envi heater in a magazine and shared with us about his high heating bills. He asked for a little discount to buy one heater for his home. After passing the phone around the office, all the ladies came into my office with tears in their eyes and said, "Mark, you have to talk to this man and help him". So I did and the rest is history...but I have a feeling his story is not over, so stay tuned for more in coming blogs. Besides manufacturing and selling heaters, we here at eheat are also about helping others whenever we can. One group of Americans I personally appreciate so much are those WWII vets who served our country during the great war. There are not many of them left so it is our wonderful privilege to have been given the honor to bless Bill Gressinger. Well anyway, several months passed (a year?) and we had not heard from Bill until one day he called out of the blue and spoke to one of the girls in the office about his reduced heating bill. When they told me, I didn't believe them and thought they must have heard wrong, so eventually after a few more weeks, we managed to get Bill on the phone again (he doesnt have a cell phone and he doesnt have a machine, so you have to get lucky to catch him when he is not pottering around in his woodshop). Read for yourself, word for word, what Bill told us...

The bathroom is very small at 60sq. ft., and I operate the heater on the 2nd setting of ten. 68°-70° even with temps in the 20s outside. The bedroom is 120sq. ft. and the heater keeps it 67°-68° on the 7th setting. Plus, they make not a peep. The bathroom and bedroom I use these heaters in have no other heat source whatsoever. It only has one furnace vent and is the farthest room from the furnace. This heater keeps it perfectly at 70 like the rest of the house. My master bed room stays warm now since it does not have the cold air from the bathroom flowing into it. I thought I was going to have to tear up my tile and put in floor heat. This heater works well and is inexpensive to purchase and operate. I am very pleased. Now if they can just build a good little air conditioner..."

The room was always drafty and the Vornado made a fair amount of noise. The room is now warmer with the envi heater (with the thermostat set at half level), it is no longer drafty, and much, much quieter. I'm getting another one for my daughter-in-law's enclosed porch. "We recently remodeled our basement and now spend most of our time there watching tv, playing games, putting puzzles together, etc. The space was always colder than the upstairs living area, so we purchased an envi heater to see if that would help. Needless to say, the heater has been AMAZING! Now it is the coziest room in the house, and we love spending time there. We also purchased one to give to a family member for their 2 year old's bedroom. They love it, and we feel better because it is so much safer than a space heater!
This is a great product at a great price! My only comment would be that it is larger in size than it appears in the picture, so check the dimensions and make sure you have a spot on the wall near an outlet where it can be mounted."

"I use an envi heater in my daughter's room. It has three brick walls and is the coldest room in the winter and the hottest room in the summer. My wife and I thought it would be easier to get a heater for a little more than $100 instead of add more heating ducts. We were lucky to find this product and it's local too. We had a lot of friends and family over the holiday and they wouldn't stop asking us what it was. We couldn't stop raving about it. Simple to use, quiet, efficient. Simple yet effective. And it's safe too. We bought another one today. My father-in-law is an arson investigator and he gives this envi heater two thumbs up. We plan to move in a few months and we will definitely be taking these with us."

"I bought 6 envi heaters(not the new 2011 version either) for my house. One in each of the three bedrooms, one in the upstairs family area and two in our living room. With a high temp of 15 degrees and a low of 2 degrees my living room thermostat, which is on the opposite side of the living room from the heaters, still showed 71 degrees. I have yet to run any other heat source. My first electric bill was $40 dollars higher. I live in the coldest state in America (this even includes Alaska). If these heaters work here, they will work in EVERY state in the United States. I purchased one of the new 2011 models and I am anxious to see the improvements. Thanks ENVI. Fuel oil is $3.75 a gallon. I would have spent that this past month alone. One more month and they have already paid for themselves."

"I had been using another brand of wall-mounted heater to keep my unheated, poorly-insulated garage above freezing in the winter. That heater always overshot it's "freeze protection" setting and would often heat the garage up much warmer than I wanted ("heating up" my electric bill in the process!). It was also on a moderately loaded circuit and would often trip the circuit breaker when it kicked on while I was away from home.
I got fed up with that heater and thought I'd try the Envi. I am super-satisfied! It took only a few minutes to install and has done a more reliable job keeping my garage above freezing with little affect on my electric bill. Amazingly, even the far side of the two-car garage–an outside wall with windows–stays above freezing. I'm not sure how the Envi does that, I guess the convection current moves enough air through the entire garage over the course of the night.
The only time it has fallen below freezing (and even then, only slightly below) was when the outside temperature was 15 degrees F or below throughout the night.
There is simply nothing to dislike about the Envi! It looks attractive and unobtrusive, it's easy to install, it works even better than expected, it's economical and it's completely safe. I wish *all* thermostats worked the way the one on the Envi does–actually adjusting the heat output as needed instead of simply turning on full load heating, then turning off when the desired temperature is reached. There is no "see-saw" effect, just constant warmth at the level you desire.
I've been recommending it to friends and I actually wish I had more uses for them throughout my house."
