I own 4 regular 500w Envi heaters which are keeping our weekend house from freezing during the winter. We have a two-story high ceiling with a loft so 3 500 watt heaters were not quite enough power to keep our space above 60° when it was below 40 outside, so happy to have the new one with 1000 Watts to make the house actually warm when we walk in. Love that I can control the power and temperature from my phone so I can adjust them before we arrive.
We've had our new heater for about a month now and I really like fhe ease of using the new digital controls. We have used e-heat units for well over ten years and had no problems until several months ago ( thru my own fault ) I had to replace a couple of units. We received a newer unit right away and opted to wait for the newest unit, and we are glad we waited. Now we are thinking of replaceing our 10 plus yearold unit with the newest one
I am extremely happy with this heater! We use it to heat our kitchen/dining/family room area which is about 500 sq. ft. It doesn’t get that cold where we live, mid-forties. Our house is all electric and this heater is much more efficient than the 60 year old radiant system. I set the heater with the app to come on at 2 am and when we wake up the temperature in the room is 68. When the temperature hits 72, it goes off. Which is before the higher time of use rate goes into effect. I couldn’t do any of this with my old heating system. The only downside is setting anything up on the heater itself, much easier using the app.

The triple-stack convection technology featured in the Smart EnviMAX was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the Smart EnviMAX heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final Envi heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the Smart EnviMAX heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!
